Janel L. Quintos, CEO

Janel has over 20 years of accounting experience and has owned Datamate Bookkeeping & Tax, Inc. since 2007. She is a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. Janel prides herself on being ethical and trustworthy in all aspects of her business, and her clients truly value her advice and guidance.

In addition to general accounting, tax, and bookkeeping services, Janel also takes on the role of CFO for many of DataMate's clients. She provides expert guidance to help them make all financial decisions, ranging from investments and 401k plans to cash flow management and even real estate purchases.

Janel has spoken at the Central Coast Baptist Association convention educating churches on IRS and California laws in the area of accounting, tax, and human resources. She has also spoken at the American Society of Interior Decorators Peninsula Chapter meeting, educating members on sales tax laws related to the design industry.

In her free time, Janel enjoys spending time and camping with her husband and four children.

Billie Colton, Operations Officer and Sr. Client Account Manager

With over 25 years of experience in accounting and business operations, Billie offers a wealth of knowledge and resources to our clients. She specializes in serving as an outsourced CFO/COO to small businesses and high net-worth individuals where she handles all aspects of their accounting and cash flow management as well as providing them with advisory services for their operational needs, including work flow, systems implementation, and administrative management.

Billie also serves as our internal Chief Operations Officer where her focus is on the implementation and management of systems which allow DataMate to expand while still offering the high-quality services the firm is known for.

Billie splits her time between her home outside Nashville, TN and the corporate office in Gilroy, CA office.

She is the mother of three teenage daughters and enjoys taking them camping in the mountains while in TN and to the beach while in CA.

Melanie Yost, CPA, Client Tax Manager

Melanie earned her BS in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and has 25+ years of experience in both the public and private accounting fields. She is a CPA registered in Oklahoma and has experience in corporate, partnership, and complex individual tax returns, as well as payroll, AR, and AP. Melanie loves relieving clients from the stress of bookkeeping, taxes, and financial reporting.

Melanie and her husband have three adult children, a wheat farm, an agriculture equipment business, and an Australian shepherd named Ella. Aside from work, she enjoys church, quilting, painting, and needle arts.

Diana Tupper, Sr. Client Account Manager

Before joining DataMate, Diana worked as a Controller for a large cellular company for more than 15 years. She has over 25 years of experience in the business industry, including government, corporations, sole proprietorships, LLCs and non-profits. She is a certified QuickBooks Online Advanced ProAdvisor. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Antoinette Barboza, Client Account Manager

Antoinette joined DataMate in 2017 and is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She serves as a Client Account Manager to various bookkeeping and payroll clients. Prior to joining DataMate, she worked as a supply chain buyer in the micro electronics and automotive industries. She is a lifetime Gilroy resident, a mother of five, and an active member of her church, wrestling, and dance teams

Odessa S. Illescas, Bookkeeper and Client Account Manager

Odessa is a consummate accounting professional, with 17+ years of experience handling the financial statements of companies with annual revenues ranging from $7 million to over $90 million. Odessa is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines and holds a Master in Business Administration degree from the Ateneo De Manila University (Philippines) - Regis University of Denver, Colorado. In her free time, Odessa enjoys singing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Rachael O'Reilly, Operations Manager

Rachael O’Reilly joined DataMate in 2021. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree and a BA in Social and Behavioral Science from CSU Monterey Bay. Having worked in hospitality management roles for over 10 years, Rachael has a valuable perspective on business and understands how actions and attitudes can affect an organization's productivity and profitability. When she’s not working, Rachael enjoys spending time in her garden and hiking around the Santa Cruz Mountains.
